An industry-leading organization is seeking a Global Product Manager Explosives to lead its global product strategy, lifecycle management, and commercial performance across key markets. This high-impact role will drive innovation, profitability, and market relevance while leading a team of product support professionals and collaborating across functions worldwide.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced individual to influence product direction and growth on a global scale.

Key Duties :
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans and sourcing strategies for explosive product categories
  • Formulate pricing strategies to drive profitability and market share
  • Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and performance data to inform decisions
  • Lead the end-to-end product development process in collaboration with R&D and engineering teams
  • Monitor KPIs and adjust product or category strategies as needed
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with supply chain, sales, operations, and marketing teams
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure commercial efficiency
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from launch through to exit strategy
  • Lead and develop a team of product managers and support professionals
Key Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management
  • 7-10 years' experience in category management, product support, or marketing
  • 5 years' product management experience in the mining sector
  • 3 years' experience with commercial explosives and blasting practices
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and global stakeholder relationships
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with data and procurement tools
  • A Master's degree is advantageous
