The Partner Company in South Africa seeks a Head of Procurement to build a global function from the ground up, overseeing strategy, supplier relationships, and commercial negotiations across more than 200 destinations.

This leadership role offers remote work with international scope, high-impact cross-functional collaboration with finance, product, and operations, and a clear path to scale procurement to support rapid international expansion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement leadership experience in fast-growing tech or scale-up.
• Proven experience building procurement functions, policies, and vendor management processes.
• Strong international contract negotiation expertise.
• Experience in financial analysis of complex commercial agreements.
• Ability to design scalable procurement processes for a growing org.
• Strategic thinker balancing cost, quality, risk, and objectives.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders cross-functionally.
• Experience in telecom, connectivity, or SaaS environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of international vendor compliance and cross-border operations.
• Proactive, commercially minded, with autonomy.
