Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Cape Town seeks a Project Manager to deliver initiatives in the Legal and Compliance domain, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership in an international, fast‑growing environment.

You will apply traditional and agile project management tools, drive project execution, and ensure alignment with business objectives while guiding planning, stakeholder engagement, and transparent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, preferably within Legal, Compliance, or Risk domains.
• Familiarity with traditional and agile project management tools and frameworks.
• Previous experience on Risk and Compliance projects advantageous.
• Previous experience working in Amaris or similar consulting environments advantageous.
• Proficiency in relevant project management software and tools.
• Degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent facilitation and planning skills.
• Ability to operate in highly pressured and ambiguous environments.
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams toward common goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects within the Legal and Compliance domain, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Apply traditional and agile project management tools and frameworks to drive project execution.
• Facilitate project planning, stakeholder engagement, and communication across teams.
• Collaborate with Senior and C-suite leadership to ensure project alignment and visibility.
• Build and maintain a healthy, collaborative, and productive team culture.
• Navigate highly pressured and ambiguous environments to achieve project goals.
• Foster exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills to encourage collaboration across teams.
• Inspire and motivate teams toward common goals and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
