Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Team in Cape Town. The role involves ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing across multiple countries. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, with expertise in payroll systems, international regulations, and collaboration with local HR, finance teams, and third-party payroll providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in multiple countries
  • Verify employee data, timesheets, benefits, and tax compliance to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain compliance with local and international payroll regulations
  • Prepare and submit statutory reports such as tax filings, social security, and labor reports
  • Stay updated on changes to global payroll laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with local accounting partners to resolve payroll queries
  • Work with HR and IT teams to ensure payroll systems are current and optimized
  • Manage integrations between payroll systems and other platforms (e.g., ERP, HRIS)
  • Support audits and provide necessary payroll documentation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a global or multinational environment
  • Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday, Payspace)
  • Strong knowledge of global payroll regulations and tax compliance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus

Certifications:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent
  • Global Payroll Management Certificate or similar
