Job summary

IQVIA is expanding its Lifecycle Safety Medical team to support comprehensive pharmacovigilance activities across multiple markets. The Associate Medical Safety Director will provide medical safety oversight, conduct signal detection, and contribute to regulatory submissions and safety updates.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited and internationally recognized medical school.
• Around three years of clinical practice experience with two additional years in the pharmaceutical or associated industry.
• Knowledge of applicable federal and local regulations and guidelines pertaining to clinical research including safety and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide aggregate reviews of safety information to oversee product safety profile.
• Lead signal detection and analysis activities and contribute to safety reports.
• Provide medical review for regulatory submissions and safety reports (EU/US) and development safety plans.
• Contribute to benefit-risk evaluation of drugs in clinical trials and post‑marketing.
• Oversee safety aspects of labeling, risk management, and safety summaries.
• Support pharmacovigilance case processing and internal stakeholder meetings.
