Standard Bank in Johannesburg seeks an experienced professional to execute and oversee investment transactions across fixed income and structured solutions, focusing on best execution and minimal operational risk.

You will oversee the trade lifecycle from execution to settlement and collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to ensure seamless service and robust controls. A First Degree in Finance or related field and 3–5 years in Global Markets are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years Advanced experience in the Trade Lifecycle of Global Markets environment.
• 3-5 years Principles and practical application of pricing and risk management and the impact of these on risk, P&L and entire value chain.
• 3-5 years Proficient technology experience and the ability to manage desk specific systems, software and processes, including Microsoft applications.

Responsabilités

• Execute and oversee investment transactions across fixed income, structured solutions products, and client onboarding activities, ensuring best execution of investment strategies while minimizing operational risk.
• Provide oversight across the trade lifecycle, including trade execution, allocation, matching, and settlement of complex Global Markets transactions.
• Leverage market expertise and sound judgment to resolve exceptions, mitigate operational and settlement risks, and drive continuous improvement through learning and process changes.
• Partner with Front Office, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external counterparties to ensure seamless execution and service delivery.
