The Role Summary:

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have a company-wide impact, being responsible for supporting HR processes and procedures.

You will think creatively about how we hire, onboard and retain top talent and be a true People Administrator to the internal Central Operations team at Chapter 2.

Responsibilities:

  1. HR Administration & Support: Maintain accurate employee records across global offices, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Manage HR documentation such as employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials. Support visa, work permit, and relocation processes for international employees.
  2. Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate global onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a seamless experience. Manage offboarding tasks, including exit interviews, final documentation, and system updates.
  3. Payroll & Benefits Administration: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accuracy across different regions. Support benefit enrollments, renewals, and employee queries on global benefit plans.
  4. Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure HR policies and practices align with local labor laws and company guidelines. Maintain accurate records for audits, reporting, and compliance purposes.
  5. Employee Support & Communication: Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and systems. Provide support to managers and teams on HR-related processes.
  6. Data Management & Reporting: Maintain HRIS systems with up-to-date employee data. Generate reports on workforce metrics, such as turnover rates, absence tracking, and diversity data.
  7. Project Support: Assist in global people and culture initiatives such as employee engagement programs, training sessions, and process improvements. Collaborate with regional managers to ensure consistent people practices across geographies.

Your Profile:

Previous global experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role, in a global or multi-region environment. Familiarity with international employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices. Experience supporting HR processes such as onboarding, payroll, and employee data management.

Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively.

Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling employee records, payroll data, and compliance documentation.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with employees across diverse cultures and regions.

Problem-Solving: Ability to address employee queries and resolve HR-related issues efficiently.

Confidentiality: Strong sense of discretion in handling sensitive employee information.

Experience with HRIS platforms: (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors) for managing employee data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation. Familiarity with payroll software and international benefits platforms is advantageous.

Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Proactive Approach: Willingness to take initiative and improve processes.

Cultural Awareness: Understanding of different cultural norms and practices to support global teams effectively.
