Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti seeks a Director of Global Project Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and EPCM contractors across the Organic Growth projects pipeline. You will drive design, cost estimation, budgeting, and project execution from conceptual studies to commissioning, ensuring adherence to company standards and safety requirements.

The role requires a degree in engineering, chartered/professional registration, and at least 15 years of design and mining project experience,

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
• At least 15 years experience in design and gold mining projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and EPCM contractors.
• Manage design processes, scope of work, and budgets for Organic Growth projects.
• Oversee risk management, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and internal teams for successful delivery.
