Job summary

ALS in Durban seeks a Sampler to conduct sampling and inspection of commodities and prepare samples per procedures. You will record data, maintain logbooks, and ensure traceability to job references in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires Matric (NSC) and reliability, with training provided. Weekend overtime may be required, and you will work with a diverse team to uphold ALS quality and health standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with sampling and inspection of commodities according to procedures.
• Ability to record data and provide photographic evidence when required.
• Adherence to health and safety, quality, and ALS policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling, inspection, and sample preparation per procedures.
• Record all sampling and inspection data and capture photo evidence as needed.
• Follow PPE and health and safety requirements; comply with site rules.
• Complete raw data forms and ensure traceability to job references.
• Maintain and log equipment checks; report equipment errors.
• Report anomalies to Supervisor/Manager immediately.
