Job summary

impact.com is seeking a Global Collection Specialist to oversee end-to-end payments collection from mid/high-value customers across multiple regions, focusing on expanding AR excellence and reducing risk. You will report to the Global Collection Manager and work within the Global Collections Team.

The role requires 5+ years in accounts receivable, ERP experience (Netsuite or similar), strong Excel skills, and the ability to drive process improvements, including AI-driven automation, while

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of AR and collections experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business Administration or similar
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Netsuite
  • SaaS Experience Desirable
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Reporting and analysis)
  • Experience in AI-driven automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Experience in handling escalations, bankruptcies, and working with external collection agencies
  • Strong analytical skills for detailed reports and insights to management
  • Ability to work independently in a high volume corporate or B2B collections environment
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and ability to perform under pressure while maintaining confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Conduct creditworthiness reviews and ongoing risk assessments for significant accounts
  • Manage escalated disputes, bankruptcies, and external collections agency relationships
  • Assist in preparing aging reports, monthly analytics, and key AR metrics
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to collection procedures aligned with business growth
  • Support internal and external audit requirements by providing reports and reconciliations
  • Serve as a backup resource for Analysts and the Collections Team
  • Participate in AR process improvement projects (AI Driven Automation, AR campaigns, Netsuite enhancements)
  • Other duties to support department OKRs and best-in-class AR practices

Your Role at impact.com

As Global Collection Specialist you will oversee the end-to-end process of collecting payments from impact.com customers, focusing on mid/higher-value accounts, regional portfolios, and newly acquired entities.

This role supports the Global Collections Team in implementing new initiatives that improve long-term operational excellence in Accounts Receivable and reports to the Global Collection Manager.

What You'll Do
  • Manage collection efforts for high-value and complex accounts across multiple regions.
  • Support integration of acquisitions into existing AR processes and assist with transitional collections.
  • Conduct creditworthiness reviews and ongoing risk assessments for significant accounts.
  • Manage escalated disputes, bankruptcies, and external collections agency relationships.
  • Assist in preparing aging reports, monthly analytics, and key AR metrics.
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to collection procedures aligned with business growth.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements by providing reports, reconciliations, and analysis.
  • Serve as a backup resource for Analysts and the Collections Team as needed.
  • Participate in AR process improvement projects (AI Driven Automation, AR campaigns, Netsuite enhancements).
  • Other duties as assigned to support department OKRs and ensure best-in-class AR practices.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of solid AR and collections experience, ideally with exposure to large or complex portfolios.
  • Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business Administration or similar
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as: Netsuite or similar
  • Saas Experience Desirable
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Reporting and analysis)
  • Experience in AI-driven automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Experience in handling escalations, bankruptcies, and working with external collection agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare detailed reports and provide insights to management.
