Placements24 in Sandton, Gauteng, is seeking a skilled Buyer II to join its procurement team. You will source goods, manage suppliers, and execute purchasing across categories to ensure on-time delivery, competitive pricing, and quality compliance.

The ideal candidate has a related degree and 2–5 years’ buying experience, strong negotiation, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel, plus excellent communication and multitasking in a global business.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Buyer or in a similar purchasing role.
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Reside in or be willing to commute to Sandton, Gauteng.

Responsabilidades

• Source and purchase goods/services per requirements and policy.
• Identify suppliers, obtain quotes, evaluate proposals for best value.
• Negotiate terms and pricing to achieve cost savings.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders accurately and timely.
• Monitor supplier performance and relationships for reliability and quality.
