GL Consolidation Accountant - Hybrid

We are seeking a highly skilled GL Consolidation Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing month-end reporting, financial control, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting expertise, consolidation experience, and proficiency in SAP.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead month-end reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
2. Oversee the financial control of the balance sheet and perform reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
3. Manage group consolidations, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
4. Provide technical accounting support across the group, assisting with complex queries and policy enforcement.
5. Collaborate with finance teams across multiple entities, ensuring seamless financial reporting.
6. Ensure adherence to IFRS guidelines and maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving accounting standards.
7. Utilize SAP to manage and analyze financial data efficiently.

Key Requirements

1. Qualified accountant with at least 3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE).
2. Previous experience within a multi-entity or PLC environment, ideally in a global company.
3. Solid expertise in consolidations and group financial reporting.
4. Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting principles.
5. SAP experience required.
6. Preferably industry experience (not necessarily airline-related); Big 4 background is acceptable but not required.
