Job summary

A leading company in the telecommunication sector is seeking a GIS Specialist for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in GIS or a related field, with proficiency in GIS software, particularly ArcGIS and QGIS. Responsibilities include utilizing GIS for spatial analysis, telecom-specific applications, and database management. This position requires strong technical skills and knowledge of RF planning and optimization.

Qualifications

Our client in the telecommunication sector is seeking a GIS Specialist on a contract duration of 6 months.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Geomatics Geography Environmental Science Computer Science or Engineering.

Certifications in GIS (e.g. Esri ArcGIS Certification GISP Geographic Information Systems Professional) are an advantage.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in GIS software :

o ArcGIS (Esri)

o QGIS (Opensource alternative)

o Google Earth Pro

Spatial data analysis & visualization

GPS and remote sensing technologies

Database management (SQL PostgreSQL with PostGIS Oracle Spatial)
