CK Africa Talent is seeking a dynamic and experienced Geologist for a leading company based in Edenvale. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a passion for geological exploration and analysis to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, analyze, and report geological findings to the Chief Operating Officer.
• Conduct fieldwork, including exploration and mining activities, with travel within Gauteng and surrounding areas (overnight stays may be required).
• Perform geologic modeling and basin analysis using advanced tools and techniques.
• Oversee contract and/or project management tasks related to geological operations.
• Utilize geology software (e.g., ArcGIS, Surpac) and data modeling tools to interpret and present findings.
• Ensure compliance with MPRDA and NEMA regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations based on geological data.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support mining and exploration projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: BSc Honours Degree in Geology or Geoscience.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in mining and exploration.
• Proven experience with various geological techniques, such as mining, boring, and numerical modeling.
• Skills: Proficiency in geology software (e.g., ArcGIS, Surpac).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle and analyze data, including 3D modeling.
• Familiarity with MPRDA and NEMA legislation.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Effective team player with strong organizational and planning skills.
