Qualifications

Commencement Date: 1 January 2026

Applicants for this position are expected to have an appropriate university degree, must be SACE registered and have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience in the IEB curriculum. Experience in in the Cambridge curriculum would be a distinct advantage. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and model professional excellence. A genuine commitment to, and passion for, education inSouth Africa and the development of young minds, is highly valued.

The successful candidate will teach Geography lessons up to Grade 12 level and will be a dynamic, dedicated person who will fully engage with students so they flourish both in the classroom and in other aspectsof their lives.

In addition, the successful candidate will inspire a love for Geography and should remain current with educational trends and curriculum developments, whilst nurturing students’ curiosity, expand critical thinking skills and broaden global awareness.
