We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated General / Estate Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and development of the estate to ensure its smooth running and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.

The candidate must live in Centurion or nearby and must be able to speak, read, and write English and Afrikaans fluently.

Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities
1. Facilities Management
  • Oversee maintenance and renovation management for buildings and common areas.
  • Ensure the estate's buildings, grounds, and facilities are maintained to high standards.
  • Enforce compliance with rules, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Serve as the Secretariat for the Facilities Subcommittee of the Homeowners Association (HOA).
2. Finance Management
  • Manage estate operation budgets, ensuring expenditures align with financial goals.
  • Monitor costs and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Analyze financial performance monthly and compare with projections.
3. Staff, Contractors, and Volunteers Management
  • Foster collaboration with internal staff, contractors, and volunteers.
  • Address staff-related matters and support team members.
  • Serve as the direct manager for the Operations Manager and administrative staff.
4. Stakeholder Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, tenants, HOA, estate agents, developers, and architects.
  • Act as liaison with local authorities and residents for smooth communication.
  • Drive community engagement initiatives and foster a positive estate environment.
5. Operations Management
  • Facilitate portfolio committees and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and mitigate estate-related risks.
