Job summary

Kabstrading Co is seeking a diligent cleaner to join our facilities team in Johannesburg. You will perform daily cleaning tasks across offices, kitchens, restrooms and common areas, maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring safe handling of cleaning equipment. The role focuses on health, safety, and cleanliness with attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitize and polish offices furniture, common areas, passages, boardrooms, ablutions, kitchens, and reception areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies such as toilet paper.
• Empty trash bins, replace trash bags, and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and stationery.
• Report maintenance issues (leaks, broken furniture, electrical faults).
• Clean kitchen areas including appliances, countertops and cupboards.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other office furniture.
• Follow health and safety regulations and best practice to prevent accidents and contamination.
• Operate cleaning equipment i.e. vacuum cleaners, trolleys, and carpet floor cleaning equipment.
