Job summary

Kabstrading Co. seeks a dependable cleaning operative to maintain a clean, safe office environment in East London. You will perform general cleaning, sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, empty waste, and report maintenance issues to ensure high standards.

Adherence to health and safety regulations is essential, and you will operate vacuum cleaners, floor cleaners, and related equipment to keep offices, kitchens, boardrooms, and reception areas pristine.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning
• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitize and polish offices furniture, common areas, passages, boardrooms, ablutions, kitchens, and reception areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies such as toilet paper.
• Empty trash bins, replace trash bags, and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and stationery.
• Report maintenance issues (leaks, broken furniture, electrical faults).
• Clean kitchen areas including appliances, countertops and cupboards.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other office furniture.
• Follow health and safety regulations and best practice to prevent accidents and contamination.
• Operate cleaning equipment i.e. vacuum cleaners, trolleys, and carpet floor cleaning equipment.
