Job summary

Kabstrading Co in Durban is seeking a warehouse operative to support general warehouse duties. You will assist with receiving, checking, moving and organising stock, loading/unloading, picking and packing for dispatch, stock rotation, and inventory checks. Maintain cleanliness and ensure products are stored per company procedures and hygiene standards. This role emphasises FIFO and careful handling of perishable goods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, checking, moving, and organising stock.
• Load and offload products from delivery vehicles and within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, sort, and prepare products for dispatch when required.
• Replenish stock and assist with stock rotation according to company procedures.
• Check product quantities, packaging, labels, and expiry dates where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse, loading areas, and delivery vehicle.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks when required.
• Handle food, beverages, household products, and other consumer goods according to company procedures.
• Follow the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle where applicable.
