The practice was established over 20 years ago and is a reputable, busy clinic located in Port Douglas, Far North Queensland, just 5 minutes from the town center. It is QPA accredited and purpose-built with beautiful timber decks winding through tropical gardens, creating a relaxing environment for patients and staff. The team includes long-term doctors specializing in various areas, utilizing both conventional and complementary medicines, benefiting the local community. Specialties include Japanese Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Hypnotherapy, Nutrition, Gut Health & Allergies, Medicinal Cannabis, Skin Cancers & Minor Procedures. The practice also has a Nurse Practitioner/Midwife, a Medical Assistant, a Practice Manager with 11 years at the practice, and two long-term receptionists.
Position Description:
The practice seeks a fully qualified GP who supports a holistic approach and aims to deliver high-quality care. The role involves working 4-5 days per week, typically from 9 am to 5 pm, with negotiable days and hours.
Qualifications & Experience:
Long-term Vocationally Registered General Practitioner.
Job Type:
Permanent, Full-time.
Salary:
65% of earnings or $150 per hour, whichever is higher.
After Hours Requirements:
The practice operates Monday to Friday only; no weekends or after-hours work is required.
