Location: Johannesburg & Cape Town (Travel Required)
We are seeking a dynamic General Manager of Sales and Administration to drive corporate partnerships and oversee the operational efficiency of the academy. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background with the ability to engage HR departments of corporate sponsors while also managing the administrative functions of the business.
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to attract corporate sponsorships for student enrollment.
- Engage with HR and L&D (Learning & Development) departments of companies to promote the academy's programs.
- Build long-term partnerships with corporate clients to secure ongoing sponsorships.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand the academy's reach.
Administration & Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure smooth running of the academy.
- Implement efficient administrative systems to support students, corporate sponsors, and trainers.
- Manage budgets, contracts, and reporting processes.
Travel & Multi-City Operations
- Regular travel between Cape Town and Johannesburg to manage academy operations and meet with corporate clients.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or corporate partnerships (ideally engaging with HR / L&D teams).
- Experience in the education or training sector is highly beneficial.
- Strong administrative and office management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive business growth.
- Willingness to travel frequently between Johannesburg and Cape Town.
