Job description

Reporting to: Head of Group Finance. The key performance areas include, but are not limited to:

  1. Developing and Executing Retail and Marketing Strategies
  2. Assessing and developing the existing OpenView box and platform, along with the marketing strategy, to achieve an effective sales and distribution business model.
  3. Developing an ongoing business plan to meet the company’s short, medium, and long-term goals.
  4. Managing all expenditures in line with approved budgets, including stock management.
  5. Developing the distribution model to ensure the effective and timely supply of all products related to OpenView.
  6. Distribution and Manufacturing
  7. Ensuring all agreements with stakeholders reflect current business practices.
  8. Ensuring distributor stock holdings and production plans align with sales lead times, especially during peak trading periods.
  9. Ensuring a highly efficient supply chain operation that provides effective STB and receiver antenna prices to consumers.
  10. Ensuring a diverse and accessible product selection for consumers.
  11. Ensuring products meet established quality standards.
  12. Stakeholder Relationships
  13. Building, supporting, and maintaining interpersonal and team relationships to ensure a stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.
  14. Establishing and maintaining relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers of digital set-up boxes.
  15. Ensuring a coordinated approach to sales, distribution, and installation of the OpenView product.
  16. Managing relationships with regional distributors, installers, and trade organizations.
  17. Developing account development plans for all regional Area Sales Manager accounts.
  18. Collaborating with Area Sales Managers to expand and strengthen the account base of small retailers and installers.
  19. Leadership and Team Development
  20. Managing the sales, account management, and merchandising teams.
  21. Developing and overseeing team performance, skill enhancement, and role-specific growth.
  22. Overseeing daily team operations, ensuring accountability and accurate reporting.
  23. Business Reporting
  24. Preparing and presenting weekly activity reports on sales, performance, marketing, and installations, with detailed market insights.
  25. Preparing documents and presentations on supply chain issues for Platco Digital.
  26. Providing progress reports on the OpenView HD supply chain.
  27. Providing weekly reports on boxes produced by manufacturers.
  28. Reporting on distributor and trade organization marketing activities.
