General Manager (Manufacturing)

General Manager (Manufacturing) – Brits, North West.

We are looking for a General Manager who will proactively lead the Brits manufacturing plant.

Requirements:

1. Tertiary qualification that will be relevant to this position
2. At least 7 years senior management experience in a similar environment
3. At least 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
4. Proven track record as a successful business leader
5. In depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
6. In depth knowledge of development and implementation of policies and procedures
7. Knowledge of strategic development – marketing management, relationship management, sales development
8. Experience in financial management
9. Experience in quality control and quality assurance measures and management
10. Experience and knowledge in health and safety standards
11. Experience in managing a maintenance team
12. Experience in managing HR and IR including contracts, skills and development training
13. Advanced computer skills
14. Proficient in verbal and written English and Afrikaans
