General Manager - George

An industry-leading Health and Hygiene company is seeking an experienced General Manager to join their team.

Location: On-site | Permanent | R40 000pm to R50 000pm | George

Role Summary :

Manage all disciplines within the branch to ensure profitability, achieve financial targets, and align service quality with profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversee sales, operations, and administration
2. Improve service delivery to meet operational requirements, including route optimisation, KPIs, and Quality KPIs
3. Ensure compliance with ISO standards
4. Meet regional branch targets
5. Manage branch profitability
6. Ensure compliance of health and safety and equity committees, including meeting minutes
7. Train and develop staff
8. Grow the business with existing and new customers
9. Build professional relationships with clients

Experience :

• 5-10 years’ experience as a General Manager
• Service-related experience
• Experience in sales activities

Education :

• Matric minimum
• Management qualifications

Preferred Knowledge and Skills :

• Excellent command of English
• Strong client-facing skills
• Sales and presentation skills
• IR/HR knowledge
• Understanding of current industry technology
