Job description

The main purpose of the role: Responsible for managing the branches, agents, suppliers, and clients for the region.

Aligning and executing the strategic deliverables of the region in line with the overall objectives of the organization.

Managing all branches and agents within the region to ensure optimal operation and delivery of our Service Catalogue to clients.

The General Manager is responsible for revenue generation, financial performance, gross profit, client retention, supporting growth, and acquiring new business within the region.

Overseeing financial performance, operational efficiency, and compliance within the region.

Desired Experience & Qualifications
  • Matric Honours / Masters in Engineering (Advantageous)
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant logistics & supply chain management experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain Optimization
  • Industrial Engineering experience with 8 years in the logistics industry
  • SIGMA experience with 5 years in the logistics industry
  • Leadership experience in project or operations roles with 5 years of staff management & development
  • WMS / ERP Systems skills with 2 years operational and development experience (advantageous)
  • TMS Systems skills with 3 years' experience in route planning and optimization
  • Project Management accreditation such as Prince2 or PMP
  • Supply Chain and Network Optimization and Planning
  • Supply Chain Management accreditation such as CSCP, SCOR-P, etc.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL, Microsoft Visio and Project, SharePoint, ERP Systems, TMS, PYTHON, Simulation Modelling, Power Apps
