We are seeking a dynamic General Manager Couple to oversee an exclusive, intimate safari camp. You'll be the welcoming face of the camp, delighting international guests with authentic, personal touches while managing daily operations and leading a diverse, motivated team in a remote wilderness setting.

If you're a couple who naturally takes ownership, enjoys decision-making autonomy, and can guide teams with strength, clarity, and diplomacy - this could be the perfect fit.

  • Oversee all camp operations including front of house, housekeeping, catering, maintenance, and guiding activities.
  • Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a positive, professional, and inclusive environment.
  • Manage budgets, stock control, and financial reporting with diligence and integrity.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, sustainability, and environmental consciousness.
  • Coordinate with guides and activity teams to create unforgettable safari and wildlife experiences - from mokoro excursions to bush walks and game drives.
  • Build meaningful relationships with guests, staff, and local communities to enhance the overall camp experience.

About You (the Ideal Couple):

  • A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or similar required for a Visa to be issued.
  • A combined 10+ years' lodge or camp management experience.
  • Strong communicators and natural relationship builders with engaging personalities.
  • Hands-on leaders who make confident, thoughtful decisions and motivate their team to deliver excellence.
  • Experienced in hosting high-end international guests, handling feedback graciously, and elevating service standards.
  • Practical skills in vehicle troubleshooting, maintenance oversight, and off-road driving are advantageous.
  • First aid certification and radio communication etiquette are a plus.
  • A deep respect for conservation, nature, and community upliftment.
  • Ready and willing to embrace life in a remote, beautiful wilderness environment.

What's on Offer:

  • A unique lifestyle role in one of Africa's most exclusive safari destinations.
  • An opportunity to shape unforgettable guest experiences and influence community-based tourism.
  • A competitive expatriate package including accommodation, meals, and additional benefits.
  • Flexible leave schedule.
  • The chance to live and work in a breathtaking natural setting, surrounded by abundant wildlife and a committed team.
