Job Description
As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of Atlantis factory operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. Your responsibilities include leading a team of managers and staff, implementing production strategies, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Factory Operations Management
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee daily factory activities, including production scheduling, materials management, and quality control.
- Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Hire, train, and mentor managers and staff to foster a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Promote a positive, safety-conscious work culture, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Set performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback.
Budget and Resource Management- Manage the factory budget, controlling costs and allocating resources.
- Optimize utilization of labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity.
Quality Control and Assurance- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high product standards.
- Address quality issues and work with the quality control team for corrective actions.
- Develop quality systems for future ISO accreditation.
Supply Chain and Supplier Management- Collaborate with procurement to ensure steady material supply.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight- Ensure factory compliance with all manufacturing and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on industry standards and implement necessary changes.
Production Planning and Inventory Management- Develop production schedules aligning with customer demand.
- Implement inventory control to reduce waste and optimize stock levels.
Customer and Director Relations- Maintain positive customer relationships and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with senior management to align factory goals with business strategy.
Reporting and Analysis- Prepare reports on factory performance, including output, quality, and financial metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
- Diploma or Degree in business administration, commerce, management, industrial technology, or industrial engineering.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of business principles, strategic planning, and HR management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
