General Manager - Luxury Hospitality Services

Our client, a premier player in the luxury services sector, is seeking an experienced and service-driven General Manager to lead and expand a high-end hospitality operation. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to operate within one of the most exclusive and discerning client environments, engaging with international clientele across private aviation, yachting, bespoke concierge, and lifestyle services.

This role is designed for a hands-on, emotionally intelligent leader with a passion for delivering exceptional service and a proven track record in strategic growth, client engagement, and operational excellence. You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and be entrusted with shaping world-class client experiences while stewarding the brand’s reputation and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a high-performing, client-centric luxury service business.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to expand service offerings and grow the client base across multiple lifestyle verticals.
  • Represent the brand at the highest level with HNW/UHNW clients and ensure a premium standard of personalised service.
  • Mentor, manage, and empower a multi-disciplinary team to deliver consistent excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive sales, streamline processes, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the face of the business and a brand ambassador, upholding the company’s values and high service ethos.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve operational and client issues with discretion, professionalism, and speed.

Experience Requirements

  • 7-10 years’ experience in a General Manager or executive-level leadership role.
  • Proven background in luxury hospitality, lifestyle management, private aviation, yachting, or similar ultra-luxury service industries.
  • At least 5 years in a senior client-facing role, with demonstrable relationship-building success.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, agile, non-hierarchical environment.
  • A track record of achieving business growth and driving high-value sales initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of operational excellence, team performance metrics, and client satisfaction drivers.
  • Calm under pressure, skilled in crisis management, and adept at making sound strategic decisions.
  • High emotional intelligence with a low-ego, servant leadership approach.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance high-touch service with sustainable business outcomes.

Educational Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Executive training or leadership development programmes in the luxury or hospitality sector would be a distinct benefit.
