The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the overall business operations, strategic growth, and profitability of the company within the solar energy sector. The GM will provide leadership to ensure operational efficiency, market expansion, and adherence to regulatory compliance while fostering innovation and sustainability.

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth :

  1. Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives.
  2. Identify new market opportunities and drive business expansion.
  3. Establish partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers, and customers.
  4. Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to maintain market leadership.

Operations & Project Management :

  1. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of solar energy projects.
  2. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  3. Optimize supply chain and logistics for efficient procurement and project execution.
  4. Implement technology and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  5. Develop and manage the company's budget, financial plans, and cost controls.
  6. Ensure profitability through effective revenue generation and cost optimization.
  7. Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
  8. Work closely with finance teams for reporting, forecasting, and risk management.
  9. Set sales targets and drive revenue growth for solar products and services.
  10. Lead the sales and marketing team to build brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  11. Develop pricing strategies to stay competitive in the market.
  12. Foster relationships with key clients and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Regulatory Compliance & Sustainability :

  1. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to solar energy.
  2. Promote sustainability initiatives and corporate social responsibility.
  3. Keep up-to-date with solar industry policies, incentives, and emerging trends.

Team Building & Leadership :

  1. Build and manage a high-performing team across all departments.
  2. Establish a culture of performance, accountability, and innovation.
  3. Oversee talent acquisition, training, and development programs.
  4. Ensure workplace safety and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications & Experience :

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Renewable Energy, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 8+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of solar energy technologies, market trends, and regulations.
  4. Proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
