About the Role
A leading telecommunications and technology services provider is seeking a General Manager Business Lines to lead and drive the commercial, operational, and strategic growth of multiple high-impact digital solution verticals. These include Cloud, Cybersecurity, Unified Communications, IoT, SD-WAN, Private 5G, Colocation, Managed Network Services , and System Integration .
This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for solution strategy, go-to-market execution, financial performance, product innovation, and team development. You will shape the direction of mission-critical B2B solution portfolios, champion customer-centric transformation, and foster cross-functional collaboration across enterprise sales, technical teams, and product innovation units.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Lead the development and execution of integrated solution strategies aligned with the organisations corporate and enterprise growth objectives.
- Define annual sales plans and revenue targets across each business line.
- Drive market competitiveness by accelerating time-to-market, innovation, and solution maturity.
Business & Financial Management
- Own full P&L accountability for the solution portfolio.
- Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimisation in collaboration with sales and finance teams.
- Use performance data and analytics to drive commercial decisions and ROI improvements.
Product Innovation & Customer Experience
- Champion agile solution development and continuous improvement in existing offerings.
- Leverage AI, automation, and data insights to personalise customer experiences and optimise GTM strategies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through best-in-class service delivery and experience design.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee solution lifecycle from concept through to build, integration, operations, and support.
- Implement governance frameworks, service level agreements (SLAs), and project delivery standards.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strategic partnerships with key external and internal stakeholders, including enterprise clients, technology partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Act as the organisations executive representative in regional and industry engagements.
- Align closely with enterprise sales, product, finance, marketing, and transformation functions.
- Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and talent development strategies.
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Candidate Profile
Education
- A bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering , or related field.
- An MBA or Masters degree is highly advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 1012 years of senior management experience , with at least 3 years in a telecommunications or ICT environment .
- Strong background in B2B digital solutions , particularly in cloud, security, managed services, or enterprise connectivity.
- Demonstrated success in P&L ownership, growth strategy , and operational leadership.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a large, complex, and matrixed environment.
- Exposure to multinational organisations and working across geographies and cultures.
