Job Description : General Manager - Family Restaurant in Rivonia

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager for our new restaurant opening in Rivonia. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a passion for the hospitality industry and a proven track record in high-end, sit-down restaurant management.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all front and back of house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
2. Manage and lead a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
3. Handle all aspects of staff management, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance evaluations.
4. Implement effective stock control measures to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimise waste.
5. Build and maintain strong customer relations to ensure a superior dining experience and address any issues promptly.
6. Oversee restaurant administration, including budgeting, financial reporting and compliance with health and safety regulations.
7. Manage opening and closing procedures to ensure the restaurant is ready for service and secure at the end of the day.
8. Utilise Pilot software for efficient management of restaurant operations.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of relevant sit-down restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-end establishment.
2. Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on team collaboration and customer satisfaction.
4. Proficiency in Pilot software is essential.
5. A hands-on approach with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
