Job Title: General Assistant - Warehouse Worker - Epping

What you'll do

This role involves the following responsibilities:

• Housekeeping of yard and all equipment
• Store all equipment safely in the yard
• Remove equipment from other companies stored in the warehouse and prepare it for return
• Follow instructions from Operations Management to meet or exceed accuracy and productivity goals
• Safely operate heavy equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and flatbed carts to avoid injuries or damage
• Count all equipment daily to keep track of stock
• Ensure the required equipment is always available to prevent work delays
• Check all equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good condition
• Protect company equipment and ensure it is secure
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Complete any other tasks related to equipment as assigned by Operations

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need:

• Matric qualification
• Driver's license: Forklift operator certification
• Experience in roles such as General Assistant, Clerk, Worker, Picker, Machine Operator, Forklift Operator, Warehouse Worker
• Residing within 25 km of the job location
• Clear criminal record
