Ensure comprehensive customer service in-store. Responsible for merchandising stock, shelf price labeling, and housekeeping within the designated area.

Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 with 1 year of work-related experience, or
  • Grade 12 without related work experience
  • Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the area
  • Valid South African ID or work permit
  • Ability to perform basic calculations accurately
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure
Key Performance Areas
Customer Service
  • Assist customers with products and queries
  • Resolve customer complaints
Merchandising Standards
  • Merchandise bulk stock areas safely according to store layout
  • Ensure responsibility area is merchandised per planograms
Housekeeping
  • Maintain obstacle-free areas, immediate stock merchandising, and safe customer access
  • Ensure correct shelf labeling
  • Complete checklists as required
Safety (OHSA) Requirements
  • Comply with safety standards, use safety gear, ensure safety of staff and customers
  • Report discrepancies and damaged stock
  • Manage stock loss
