Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company and statutory regulations regarding cleanliness and hygiene in all tasks.
- Maintain quality standards for customer service, operating processes, health and safety, and food safety.
- Assist in preparing meals, especially salads and desserts.
- Arrange entrees, salads, desserts, and other food items on the serving line.
- Keep the serving line well-stocked and clean.
- Assist in training new employees when needed.
- Store and record food leftovers appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in canteen tables, kitchen, and other areas.
- Meet customer expectations as per the contract provisions.
- Provide high-quality customer service within the area of responsibility.
- Count and sign over stock in the designated area to the correct staff on the following shift, where applicable.
- Carry out any reasonable requests made by management.
- Report and take action on customer and client complaints or compliments when possible.
- Attend meetings and training courses as necessary.
- Perform related work as assigned.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have completed at least a National Senior Certificate.
