- We are seeking a proactive and organized General Administrator to handle day-to-day office and administrative duties, ensuring smooth internal operations. This role is ideal for a professional who is efficient, reliable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities
- Office Administration
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, phone calls, courier)
- Maintain and organize office filing systems (both electronic and hard copy)
- Order and manage office supplies, stationery, and equipment
- Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of meeting rooms and common areas
- Clerical & Documentation Support
- Assist with typing, formatting, and editing reports, letters, and internal documents
- Capture and update data into spreadsheets, databases, or management systems
- Prepare simple reports such as stock usage, petty cash summaries, or attendance logs
- Photocopy, scan, and bind documents for internal use
- Meeting & Scheduling Support
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate calendars
- Prepare meeting materials and take minutes when required
- Assist in organizing internal events or workshops
- HR & Finance Support (Basic)
- Help coordinate employee leave forms, timesheets, and travel claims
- Submit invoices and receipts to finance; assist with petty cash management
- Liaise with service providers and vendors as instructed
- Customer or Visitor Coordination
- Greet visitors and direct them appropriately
- Answer and redirect calls or queries from customers or suppliers
- Maintain a professional and friendly front-office presence
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12); Diploma or certificate in Office Administration or related
- field is a plus
- 2–3 years of experience in general office admin or clerical work
- Good command of English (written and verbal); other languages an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
