Job description

About the Role
We are seeking a mature, reliable, and trustworthy Administrative Assistant to join our close-knit team in Lynnwood. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility and a proven track record of stability in previous roles. The current incumbent is relocating and will be available for a proper handover period.

Key Responsibilities

General Office Administration:

  1. Handle a small switchboard
  2. Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, document preparation, and responding to general queries
  3. Ensure all daily receipts and counter sales are reconciled accurately

Sales & Reconciliations:

  1. Reconcile daily sales against receipts (including EFTs)
  2. Allocate payments manually and accurately

Payroll Support:

  1. Administer manual weekly wages for 18 staff
  2. 5 Monthly staff
  3. Monitor attendance and note any changes
  4. Print payslips
  5. No overtime calculations required
  6. UIF and PAYE managed by external auditors

Debtors & Creditors:

  1. Capture and allocate invoices for both Lynnwood and Head Office
  2. Manual allocation using Revelations stock and sales system
Requirements
  1. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  2. Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  3. Comfortable with a manual payroll process
  4. Experience in basic accounts administration
  5. Knowledge of or willingness to learn the Revelations system
  6. Mature, dependable, and reliable

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 | Alternate Saturdays 08:00 - 13:00
