About the Role

We're looking for a GenAI Art Director who will lead our team with expertise and vision. You will require deep experience with GenAI tools and an understanding of their potential for creators, the advertising industry, and marketing clients. Additionally, you need the positivity, energy, and lateral problem-solving skills to explore and expand techniques, pushing beyond any perceived creative limitations. One key measure of success will be your ability to inspire your team with creative solutions on a day-to-day basis. Achieving this will have a significant impact on our clients and the GenAI revolution.

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Work with our GenAI team to meet with clients, taking and refining briefs that meet client needs while best demonstrating GenAI capabilities within a systematic GenAI delivery process.
2. Oversee Pencil-related queries from creative teams to deliver final creative assembly involving different GenAI models and techniques.
3. Where necessary, directly intervene in developing, generating, or manually retouching outputs to meet quality standards across briefs.
4. Work with our GenAI team to present creative outputs to clients, taking feedback and managing expectations regarding what GenAI can and cannot do.
5. Work with our GenAI team to report on Pencil's delivery process, allowing for steps, prompts, and time taken to be shared transparently with clients.
6. Collaborate with our Training team to actively explore, implement, and explain new GenAI techniques to help our wider user base achieve high-quality creative outputs.
7. Work with our Product & Engineering teams to test new GenAI features and provide feedback to drive platform improvements.
8. As a business, we are committed to ensuring everyone on our team is fully trained and confident in using Pencil AI and other approved AI tools. A wide range of internal resources is available to make sure our teams stay ahead of the AI curve, including training, webinars, newsletters, AI communities, etc.
9. You would be responsible for staying actively AI-proficient and up-to-date by:
10. Continuously upskilling using our approved AI tools, including Pencil.
11. Staying updated with evolving AI trends through our newsletters, webinars, hackathons, AI communities, etc.
12. Facilitating collaborative knowledge-sharing sessions to foster an open exchange of AI expertise and embrace our culture of learning.

What You Need to Be Great in This Role:

1. 5 years' experience in advertising creative development.
2. Experience with GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Runway, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Jasper, etc.
3. Experience with GenAI techniques such as model selection and prompting.
4. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
5. Good personal communication and management skills.
6. Preference for candidates with prior agency experience.
7. Strong written English skills, allowing you to communicate effectively with clients and the team.
8. Access to a reliable computer with an internet connection exceeding 40 Mbps.
9. A collaborative and team-oriented attitude with optimism about the role of GenAI in creativity.
