Job summary

JTC Group in Cape Town is seeking a Supervisor to check and supervise investment fund administration tasks and prepare financial statements in line with IFRS/UK GAAP. The role requires keen attention to accuracy and strong controls.

You will coach team members, manage daily cash movements, handle payments as an A Signatory, and ensure timely statutory returns, while maintaining client and auditor relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting knowledge including IFRS/UK GAAP.
• Ability to manage time and projects under pressure.
• Detail oriented with accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Check and authorise payments as an A Signatory.
• Review valuations and ensure accurate information.
• Supervise team to ensure timely investment transactions.
• Prepare quarterly accounts and capital statements for investors.
• Coordinate cash management, reconciliations and banking tasks.
• Respond to auditors and clients' queries with clear resolutions.
