Join a leading financial institution where you will develop and manage innovative funding structures and partnerships with government and private sector stakeholders to establish blended finance funds.

These funds will drive growth and transformation, supporting development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fund Development & Strategic Partnerships:
    • Lead the development and review of partnership agreements for blended finance funds.
    • Represent the organisation on fund boards and steering committees.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients.
    • Manage service provider panels and ensure smooth fund operations.
  2. Fund Operations & Reporting:
    • Oversee fund execution, address queries, and resolve disputes.
    • Develop process flows, marketing materials, and training resources.
    • Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, including National Treasury.
    • Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with fund mandates.
  3. Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management:
    • Resolve client issues promptly and professionally.
    • Represent the organisation at events and manage the market image of funds.
    • Facilitate meetings with partners and steer committee engagements.
  4. Internal Stakeholder Management:
    • Provide training and support to internal teams on fund usage.
    • Promote the effective use of funds across business units and ensure transactions align with fund criteria.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Honours Degree or Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Accounting, Agriculture, Financial Management, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, with a focus on business development and client relationship management.
  • Experience in partnership development, fund management, credit risk, and financial statement analysis.
  • Knowledge of developmental finance, public-private partnerships (PPP), and financing small-to-medium enterprises.

Critical Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial modelling.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and relationship-building skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Occasional travel and extended working hours as needed.
