Role Summary

We are seeking a Fund Accountant, reporting to a Team Leader, responsible for preparing accurate portfolio valuations promptly. You will oversee client portfolios, including underlying accounting, financial statements, regulatory compliance, and mentoring junior staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and complete NAVs with the Team Leader.
2. Manage management and statutory reporting for corporate entities, ensuring regulatory compliance and client reporting standards.
3. Mentor trainee fund accountants.
4. Communicate with fund managers, brokers, and custodians to resolve issues timely.
5. Ensure client responsibilities are met within deadlines and compliance standards.
6. Assist external auditors for efficient audit processes.
7. Support ongoing division development and additional responsibilities as needed.
8. Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual NAVs, management accounts, IPDs, and statutory financial statements.

Skills / Experience

• Commerce degree with relevant modules or equivalent qualifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Fund-related accounting experience and knowledge of private debt, capital markets, real assets, or private equity are advantageous.
