Functional Consultant Sage 300 VIP Premier

Red Ember Recruitment is recruiting a Functional Consultant with experience in Sage 300 & VIP Premier for our clients in Pretoria & Cape Town.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing additional features, modules, and methods; understanding clients' internal business needs; making recommendations; and providing solutions to meet these needs.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and maintaining effective relationships and communication with clients and internal teams to ensure a successful client experience.
2. Managing activities towards project milestones independently or with the Project Manager.
3. Communicating project status to clients and internal Project Managers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
4. Interpreting issues and devising creative solutions for long-term business needs.
5. Performing system testing and presenting findings to the project team.
6. Managing meetings, facilitating workshops, and delivering presentations.
7. Ensuring projects adhere to schedules and discussing progress and issues during client meetings.
8. Creating bespoke reports and interfaces.
9. Handling activities outside the monthly payroll process, such as tax year-end procedures.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in commerce, human resources, or a related qualification/experience.

Experience

• At least 3 years of payroll experience or experience as an HRIS practitioner with payroll systems experience (Sage 300 and/or Premier).
• Experience in a client-facing role.

Education

Grade 12 or equivalent.
