Job description

Red Ember Recruitment is recruiting for a Functional Consultant with experience in Sage 300 & VIP Premier for our clients in Pretoria & Cape Town.

Responsibilities
  1. Implement additional features/modules/methods as required.
  2. Understand client’s internal business needs and provide solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
  4. Manage activities towards project milestones, independently or with the Project Manager.
  5. Communicate project status with clients and internal Project Managers.
  6. Interpret issues and develop creative solutions for the business.
  7. Perform system testing and present findings to the team.
  8. Manage meetings, facilitate workshops, and deliver presentations.
  9. Ensure project timelines are met and discuss progress in meetings.
  10. Create bespoke reports and interfaces.
  11. Perform activities outside of payroll processes, such as tax year-end.
Requirements
  • A diploma/degree in commerce, human resources, or related qualification/experience.
Experience
  • 3+ years payroll experience or as an HRIS practitioner with payroll systems experience (Sage 300 and/or Premier).
  • Experience in a client-facing role.
