University College Dublin (UCD), School of Agriculture and Food Science, invites applications for a fully funded PhD position in the BIOS4Grass project, commencing September 1, 2025. This project aims to develop sustainable solutions for Irish grassland agriculture by investigating bio-based biostimulants and enhancing nitrogen use efficiency.

Requirements

  • Honours degree (2:1 or higher) in plant biology, agronomy, soil science, or a closely related discipline
  • Strong organizational and independent research abilities
  • Willingness to travel across Ireland for field sampling
  • Valid, clean driving license
  • English language proficiency (IELTS ≥ 8 or equivalent)
