Placements24 in Sandton, Gauteng, seeks a motivated Child Carer and Tutor for two children aged 6 and 9. The role combines daily care with homework help and enrichment activities to support learning and development.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of childcare experience, a degree in Education or related field, and strong communication. A valid driver’s license, First Aid/CPR, and reliable transport are essential, with a long-term commitment encouraged.

Competenze

• Minimum of 4 years of childcare experience, including tutoring or support for school-aged children.
• Degree or strong academic background in Education or a related field.
• Proven ability to assist with homework and reinforce academic concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record; access to a reliable vehicle.
• First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
• Ability to provide excellent references from previous childcare and tutoring roles.
• Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.
