You will manage feeding, hygiene, sleep routines, light housekeeping, and effective communication with parents. Must have 3+ years of childcare experience, infant/toddler expertise, current First Aid and CPR, and be legally

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience with newborns and toddlers.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, reliability, a gentle demeanor, and a genuine love for children.
• Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.
• Residing in or near Soweto is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated care for a newborn and a toddler.
• Ensuring safety, health, and well being of both children.
• Managing feeding schedules, including bottle prep for the newborn and meals for the toddler.
• Overseeing diaper changes, bathing, and dressing routines.
• Establishing and maintaining consistent sleep routines.
• Engaging children in age-appropriate developmental activities.
• Light housekeeping pertaining to the children.
• Communicating with parents about daily activities, progress and concerns.
• Fostering a secure, loving, and stimulating environment for development.
• Must be comfortable administering medication if required (with parental instruction).
