Job summary

iMedrecruit is seeking a Paediatrician to join a specialist paediatric practice in Gqeberha for a full-time six-month locum/fixed-term contract, with potential extension based on needs. You will work alongside a Paediatric Pulmonologist to support hospital and outpatient workloads.

Ideal candidate holds MBChB and HPCSA Specialist Paediatrician registration, with hospital or private practice experience and the ability to work independently within a specialist team.

Qualifications

• MBChB degree required.
• Registered Specialist Paediatrician with the HPCSA.
• Full-time availability for the six-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Attend to in-hospital and outpatient paediatric patients.
• Conduct consultations, assessments and follow-ups.
• Develop and manage treatment plans for paediatric patients.
• Provide ongoing patient care and continuity of care.
• Communicate professionally with parents, caregivers and referring doctors.
