Overview

Rallim Modern Learning Environment, an exciting private school situated on Berkshire Boulevard, Sunningdale, in the Western Cape, is seeking to employ a Full-time Grade 12 CAT & LO Educator to join a talented and creative community in January 2026. First preference will be given to candidates based in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Grade 12 Computer Applications Technology and Life Orientation in alignment with CAPS and school standards.
  • Design engaging lesson plans and assessments that promote critical thinking, practical application, and life skills.
  • Prepare learners thoroughly for their National Senior Certificate examinations.
  • Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
  • Contribute positively to the school community through participation in extra-curricular activities, staff development, and pastoral care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching practices and learner support.
Requirements
  • A recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed. or PGCE) with a specialization in CAT or related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Grade 12 CAT and Life Orientation at CAPS level.
  • Excellent knowledge of the NSC curriculum and assessment standards.
  • Strong IT proficiency and the ability to integrate technology meaningfully into lessons.
  • Effective classroom management and communication skills.
  • SACE registration.
  • A passion for learner development, innovation, and holistic education.
Advantages
