Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications for a cloud-focused product suite. The role supports both backend and frontend systems in a fully remote South African environment, collaborating closely with product and design teams.

You will work across the full software lifecycle, ensure robust APIs and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP), and contribute to architectural decisions in an agile team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in backend (Python/Java/Node.js) and frontend (React/Angular/Vue.js) development.
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially in a Remote setting.

Key Responsibilities
