A financial services company, specializing in group funeral insurance and policy administration, based in Pretoria East, is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join their team to develop and maintain their proprietary in-house software.

POSITION INFO :

Qualifications & Experience :

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in :

• ASP.NET
• NET MVC and MVC Core5
• Java
• Angular
• MS SQL Server
• SQL SSMS
• Visual Studio and VS Code
• Windows Server (advantageous but not essential)
• Xamarin

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain and enhance in-house software.
• Develop in C# and .Net Core.
• Perform both front-end and back-end development.
• Develop mobile applications.
• Manage and develop SQL Server databases.
• Write and implement SQL queries, views, functions, and procedures.
• Maintain and develop the Angular.js front-end stack.
• Identify problems and develop solutions.
• Communicate with and support clients.
• Track time and tasks, and report to the Head of Development.
• Provide insights on technology stacks.
• Adhere to software standards and procedures.
• Research and keep ahead of new technologies.
• Test, implement, and evaluate new developments.
• Identify areas for software improvement.
• Document software processes and changes.
• Proactive and critical thinker.
