Job summary

Superbalist is seeking a Full Stack Frontend Engineer to craft fast Nuxt/Next.js front ends and own features end-to-end, including APIs and services behind them. You’ll write tests, ship code independently, and optimize performance while embracing AI-assisted development and agentic tooling.

You will collaborate across teams to design scalable solutions, review code, and contribute to a culture that puts the customer at the heart of everything we do.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development with strong frontend focus.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Commercial experience with Nuxt (Vue) or Next.js (React).
• Backend APIs and services with Node.js.
• SQL and relational databases; HTTP and edge delivery knowledge.
• Testing, performance tuning and secure code practices.
• Experience with AI tools and AI-assisted development is a plus.
• Proficient with Git and issue tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Build features end-to-end from Nuxt components to backend APIs.
• Write tests and push to production independently.
• Create fast, accessible UI with strong performance metrics.
• Design and integrate APIs or backend services.
• Convert requirements into technical specs and design.
• Contribute to design systems and large team projects.
• Review peers' code and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop unit/integration tests and QA plans.
• Engage in reviews of functional/technical specs.
• Investigate defects and monitor services you own.
• Leverage AI to automate tasks and accelerate delivery.
• Improve architecture, code quality, and security continually.
• Collaborate in an AI-enabled engineering workflow.
